Mademoiselle is a tribute to the brilliance and beauty that is black women.  It is one of four paintings in a collection I created called VIBES MAGAZINE. It showcases a stunning black woman on a fictional magazine cover in the future, focusing on affirmations and articles that would be written in a world post African American harassment. 
 
I love this painting because her posture and direct gaze showcase her unapologetic comfort in her own skin.
